One Stop Hearing Shop
We want our offices to be a community resource. A place to find out about hearing related issues in general, get a referral to a specialist, pick up a pack of wholesale batteries, check for earwax, re-tube a hearing aid, buy some noise protectors or sleep plugs, have a minor service or simply find out what’s new.
Sound Studio
A unique feature of our flagship centres in PE and George are our sound studios. These very large, room sized, walk-in booths are clad in sound studio panels and sound proofing. Here we can, in a comfortable, non-claustrophobic way diagnose your hearing problem, do speech tests and demonstrate real life soundscapes. These anechoic spaces are ideal for experiencing music in high definition and finetuning your hearing aid.
PORT ELIZABETH
Here we have our largest studio which also houses our pediatric division. Kids can literally play while having a free field test. Advanced diagnostics, tympanometry etc are done by a qualified audiologist who works closely with ENT specialists and sub-specialties in audiology and speech therapy.
GEORGE
This centre has been fitted with all the latest audiological equipment and has a demo sound studio. It is linked directly to our fitting and consulting rooms. We also have a separate soundproof booth, also used for industrial screening clients . The George centre houses our new admin hub and call centre.
SEDGEFIELD
We now have a unique retail outlet in Sedgefield (where it all started) at the Plum Tree Trading centre which is open five days a week for bookings and service.
JEFFREYS BAY
We have been visiting JBay for 25 years. Today we anchor the specialist rooms at the Policlinic and have customised the space to suite our needs.. It is a wonderful, light and spacious venue.
PLETTENBERG BAY
Our local Plett Acoustician Stephen Gurney looks after the hearing aid needs of this vibrant seaside community. What better venue than the Zen inspired design of the Hutton Medical Centre.
